You’re out in front of your house, mowing. You notice the hedge is pretty scruffy. “I’ll get to that next weekend,” you tell yourself. Replace the feeder for the finches? That broken nozzle on the hose? Also next weekend. And you mean it.

What you’ve forgotten is that next weekend you’re getting the carpet shampooed. And taking Rex to the groomer. And dropping the girls off at softball practice. Somewhere in the back of your mind, you know you can’t possibly fit them all into next weekend, so you try not to think about it and go back to mowing the lawn.

You shouldn’t have to be a project manager to manage your household - but sometimes that’s what it feels like. There are so many things you need to get done. And all those things youwant to get done. We designed ourTaskManager bundle for exactly this problem.

We honor your optimism. It’s the chaos we want to help you conquer.

There’s no perfect tool for organizing your household. We designed our TaskManager with enough versatility to help almost anyone create their own imperfect system. Your tools:

Are you a divide and conquer sort of person? The TaskManager offers several different ways of separating your tasks into their respective areas. Your inner spatial organizer could use each of the dry-erase Large Tiles for a separate area of your household. Then you could distribute the twelve dry-erase Mini Tiles around the three Large Tiles. Sort of like reusable notes posted around a small whiteboard. Or maybe your inner-artist would fashion the TaskManager into a system based on colors. You could have a different color for each distinct area of your life or each person in your family.

The TaskManager comes with 12 different Color Bands in six different colors: red, orange, green, blue, purple, and black. You can attach certain Color Bands to groups of Mini Tiles, each for a different part of your system. You also get a pack of 6 Anti-Gravity Dry-Erase Markers matching the six Color Bands of your Mini Tiles. There are so many different ways to use the colors of the markers and the ColorBands to create whatever system your imagination can create.

But your eyes aren’t the only part of your body the TaskManager engages. You get to use your hands, and fingers, and arms, and maybe even your feet. You get to be productive without all the mouse clicks and keyboard taps.

When you finish a task, you pull down its dry-erase Mini Tile and wipe it clean. When you add a task, you grab another, mark it up, and post it where it belongs. When you need to adjust, just move the tiles around. You can reuse them thousands of times. But who wants to think about that many tasks, right?

Did we mention that the Tiles are magnetic? We designed them as a unique grid system of strong, rare earth magnets. The system makes it possible to place four Mini Tiles on top of a Large Tile in a perfect grid. They align automatically because of the placement of the magnets.

And speaking of magnets, did we just skip right over that part about our markers being Anti-Gravity Dry-Erase Markers? Yeah, we did. Let’s get back to that. Are they really anti-gravity? No. They cannot bend space and time. But they do have these super-strong little magnets in their base. That means you can stick them right to your M.C. Squares WhiteBoard, sort of like they’re floating.

We’ve got a whole set of Anti-Gravity Markers on the edge of one of our office WhiteBoards. They look like a tiny space-age garden of markers sprouting sideways out of the board. Whenever we need a different color, we just pluck one of the markers from the garden. We also designed them with a little dry-erase marker on the cap. You don’t need to go hunting for the dry-eraser when you make a mistake; you’ve already got one in your hand.

So what does all this mean?

The TaskManager is a versatile productivity system that allows you to organize your household in a way that suits you best. You can see what needs to be done, and what parts of your life you’re getting a handle on. And when the time inevitably comes, you’ll be ready to add more tiles.

As with any form of art, the options for creating visual quotes – the style, the medium, the tools, the color palette – are limited only by the artist’s imagination. With whiteboards, the artist can achieve the intimacy of hand-drawn artwork and the editing ability of digital tools.
