Q&A With Shane Saeed

Meet Shane!

Hi! I'm a passionate educator in Longmont, CO with a focus on student relationships, the science of learning, and flexible learning spaces. I consider myself a lifelong learner and have earned two Master's degrees in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in literacy and in School Leadership. Currently, I'm working on becoming a Doctor of Education in Executive Leadership with a focus on Educational Equity!

What inspired you to create a reusable planner set?

This bundle is near to my heart because relational work is intentional. It doesn't just happen-- we have to plan for it. As an educator, I love being able to plan my week at a glance and intentionally think about what community-building practice I am going to work into my schedule each day. When planning ahead becomes a part of your weekly routine, it quickly becomes a habit!

What's included in your bundle?

(1) Rigid Week at a Glance Jotter, (1) Reusable To-Do List, (2) Reusable Sticky Notes, (25) Reusable Subject Stickers, (10) Reusable Checkmark Emojis, (6) Blank Reusable Labels, (4) Reusable Stickers, (1) Tackie Hang Tag, and (1) Tackie Marker.

What makes this the perfect gift for teachers?

This reusable bundle can be used for so many tasks while limiting the waste you create! It will help you plan ahead for materials you need to prep, copies to make, assignments to grade. Use it to organize lesson plans for each day and keep track of ongoing to-do's while scheduling in time for yourself and being intentional with building relationships.

Give your favorite teacher the gift of organization! Teachers are getting ready for back-to-school too! Whether you know one or you are one, this planning bundle is a must-have to start the academic year in stride.

Bad Habits Make Every Day Groundhog Day
Bad Habits Make Every Day Groundhog Day

Why are bad habits so much easier to keep around than good ones? Our brains like to feel comfortable and safe - and bad habits can feel like a cozy (but bad for us!) blanket. Whether consciously acted on or not, we love the dopamine rush of a fulfilled bad habit craving. When we try to change our brains, they steer us back to what we know - the habits we want to break.
